"It has bikes, hot cars, lots of action with gunfights, explosions, chases, and dead people everywhere. It is a tale of loyalty and treachery, greed, and honor. I'm proud of it, and it has been very well-received."
Why in the world would this idiot think any of us would buy this POS?

Are you kidding? A novel about down and dirty scooter trash? I'm in.

You'll be glad to know we were talking about Margeisms at my BF's birthday- Specifically if a kid who was goofing around was engaging in "Monkey Shines" or "Monkeyshimes." In either case, you are justified in saying "You knock that off or I'll knock you off, weisenheimer"
He had to "choose between betrayal of of his friends and his need to stop his friends' drug and prostitution businesses"? What the hell does that mean? That stupid sentence actually backfires on you and ends up meaning the opposite of what you intended it to.
What you apparently MEANT to say was: "...choose between supporting his friends and stopping their drug and prostitution businesses."
Which begs the question: Why would he have to stop his friends' drug and prostitution businesses? I have plenty of friends who are drug-dealing prostitutes. Well, prostitutes, at any rate. That's their business.
Your novel may indeed be good but no one will ever know, because your description of the novel stinks.
LOL, Joe! I don't even know her, but I love Aunt Marge!

Listen, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's a biker dude. But I am concerned with a plot point that further exploits sex workers. I wish they had a union that could endorse this book, or not. Having said all that, I would personally not mind being exploited by a biker called "Animal".

I wondered about that too Namo. Maybe he had to betray his friends and stop their drug/prostitution ring cause it was invading his turf and cutting into HIS drug/prostitution business?
