mmm kinda. Everyone else in my school isn't in to Broadway at all, but I'm friends with most of them. Actually I'm friends with most of the guys (because is it just me, or are 8th grade boys a lot easier to get along with than the girls) and whatever this one guy, Cody, says, goes,(how said is that?) so he said he thought it was cool that I liked it, and I don't know if everyone else feels the same way, but they haven't said anything.
That being said, they sometimes give me funny (not meanly funny or anything like that, but these dopey smiles) when I hand in a report on say George Gurshwin and their report is on that Bam guy from "Viva La Bam" ..... then the looks start coming on
but otherwise..not really. I remember though I met this one girl at this dance camp, a jazz dance camp, and she made fun of me CONSTANTLY for my broadway fetish. She was awful, always saying the worst things about me, and worse all my "gay ass broadway fiends". Well one of my "gay ass Broadway friends" laid it down to her straight when he met her one day. God I love my Danny boy.
But what kills me about being the only one in my school who likes Broadway? no one to talk to. no one really to talk to who understands, you know? which is why I'm going to an arts school in about a year.
