re: re: re: re: re: re: Hussy Numba One!

i do not use my real name because:
1. i have never been comfortable putting my real name out on th einternet where any nut job could decide to start harassing me.

2. it wouldnt matter since i sincerely doubt any of you know me.
#53

huh?

"any nut could harrass you"
but it's ok for you to harrass others with words?

"no one knows me"
that's SO not the point...would you say the things you do without a mask on your face? then why say them at all?

Come on LOC, just try to bend a little and honor the Union you represent, full of men and women who have respected the privacy of their fellow theatre workers for decades...at least till they're dead and buried!!!

Yea Union!!!!

ok everyone, let's wrap this up with a thrilling chorus of "Look For The Union Label" (which will exclude anyone under 35 I fear)

re: huh?

i dont see how expressing my opinion on matters is harassment. i also never post something that isnt already public knowledge.
from where i work, which isnt even in what is considered the theater district , if i hear something then it must be public knowledge by the time it gets to me.
however if it bothers you so much i will refrain from posting any hairspray info i hear from now on. but you can be sure that by the time any of that info got all the way downtown to me everybody in the business already knew it.

re: re: huh?

I'm not buying that--you usually have "scoops". And what might be traveling around the theatre crowd isn't public knowledge most of the time. Big difference between you and me chatting privately about Joey Fatone's next show and announcing it to the public before the contract is signed.

Also, are you sure you have ONLY ever said anything you could have said with your name and/or pic next to the post??

re: re: re: huh?

i see your point and will refrain from all "scoops" in the future.
from now on all of my posts will include no opinions or information.
i promise.
are we all happy now?

re: re: re: re: re: huh?

without opinion and info i find my existence diminishing and am too weak to type any longer. i will be unable to post again. bye.

Eddie Varley, that's not fair!

we had a nice discussion going here, and then you go and put Jon Eric Hexum in your icon and spoil my concentration!!

Hey, don't go Local! Just brush up on your Emily Post and we'll all survive just fine!!

group hug for LOC!

Damn you Marc, not only have you chased LOC away and thus my only link to the hot gossip in NYC, but you've gotten that Union Label song stuck in my head. You are indeed and old fart. By the way, didn't you write that jingle?

Oh, and for the record, I too, am not comfortable with my real name on the internet, but most of the people I care about here know my real name through PM's.

"... when buying a coat, dress or blouse..."

I know I always do. ESPECIALLY on blouses. Come to think of it, I prefer all my tops to have a union label.

Suleen,
I love Julie Harris. Started my obsession with her when she played the mother of that hussy on knots landing. Thanks for the link to the website.

Marc,

I have nothing to hide, nor do I post anything remotely disrespectful about performers on this message board, but I do have issues with revealing my identity on the internet. I, at one point did have my headshot as an icon, but decided that it is not wise to make myself a target on the internet. But trust me, anything that I post on here, I would have no qualms with saying to ANYONE's face. That's why I was so eager to attend the BWW gathering this past winter, but couldn't due to conflicts.

Cheers,
The Balladeer

Al - I knew it! You're the ADD kid from Spellbound. I wondered what happened to him. Now can you spell "bann"?

Unfortunately, Al lost the last spelling bee when asked to spell

broadwayworldaholic

he answered

broadwayworldaholoic and lost the match to Herschel Bandonovich from P.S. 106

Popa..I'm shocked..

And I say, oh, whoa, whoa, now hon’, tell me why,
Now tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me why, yeah.
And I say, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, when I ask you,
When I need to know why, c’mon tell me why, hey hey hey,
Here you’ve gone today,
I wanted to love you and hold you
Till the day I die.
