Various sites, including Salon & MSNBC, and referring to the NY Times, are saying that her nomination will be formally announced after Thanksgiving. Seems like all the concerns on both sides have been resolved.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. She is giving up a safe senate seat for a post that may not last beyond 4 years

If he wins reelection,I doubt she would remain @ State for 4 more years. Time will tell

Now all she has to do is sweat the hearing where all of Billy's dirty linens will come out.

If she's still interested in the presidency after Obama's reign, she will be extremely hard to beat.

A great choice, and a great career move. She will have both domestic and international experience that few could match.

While I think she'll do well, I'm not necessarily sure it's a great career move. SecStates don't usually last 4 years, let alone 8. So, she'll probably need to do something in between this gig and running for prez in 2016.

Obama has made a brilliant appointment.

She will skate through the hearings to unanimous approval, from Democrats and Republicans alike.
