That was the part where I really wasn't paying attention when I joined the site three years ago.

Do not say anything to this guy except, "I find what you are saying to me to be inappropriate for the work place. I would appreciate it if you didn’t speak to me like that.”
Reporting him to the manager first was wrong, but there’s nothing you can do now.
And if you are there when the manager speaks to him, it’ll look like you are ganging up ion him. Just let the manager do their job.

Do you have to post EVERY thought that comes into your head?
What do you have to take a serious post about work place sexual harassment and make a sex joke out of it?

My first post was sincere. I posted a very direct and valid point. After that it was fair game.

Just because your first post wasn't off topic doesn't give you the right to make jokes about a serious situation.
Some things just aren't funny.

Perhaps this is a perspective moment. My perspective is different than yours.
After reading all of the posts from the original poster, I sincerely see a double-standard. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and in this case I think the poster reacted because they were more intimidated by this "jock, meathead" type than anything.
It's not so much serious as it will be a life lesson to the poster that if they don't set boundaries with people, they will be disrespected and mistreated.
And so life goes...

JoeKv99 has the perfect solution. No seriously, I work around nothing but pure heterosexual hypermasculineness testosterone all day either they'll leave you alone or they'll jokingly play along. It's fun.
As for telling the manager goes, I have to echo just about everyone else. You really should have talked to him first and then if that ended in a confrontation or him no trying to change anything then you should have went to the manager. I really hope this works out for you being uncomfortable at works sucks.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

If you think I'm inappropriate, block me. I doesn't make two sh*ts of difference. You have free will. It exacerbates the problem if you keep wagging your virtual finger of shame every time you don't like something I post. Sometimes I push the line, sometimes I don't.
I don't need the self-appointed BWW Police to follow behind me and give me a pink slip each time they're not "happy" with my comments.

So, perhaps to steer this thread in a different direction:
FindYourGrail, has anything happened since you reported your co-worker? Did it turn out for the best, or did it make things worse?

I've dealt with a bazillion harassment cases as a manager. They never get resolved happily. If you are uncomfortable around him (And I wonder if you really are- or just feel like you should stand up to him?) then leave. Start looking for another job. Because no matter what he does, you'll be unhappy. Unless you guys do it. Than you'll be happy while it lasts and sad when he goes back to his girlfriend.

You could always resort to violence.

Interesting stereotype from someone who is saying they don't feel comfortable with comments and 'stereotypical' jokes...
The issue of acceptance and tolerance works in many directions.

Guys!
You're taking a serious, life-altering situation and making it a joke.
What's wrong with you all???

People joke about serious situations all the time.
It's called comedy.
