Posted: 5/29/06 at 12:27pmAs it's a Bank Holiday in the UK, 'The Sound Of Music' is being broadcast this afternoon. It's raining, too, (it always rains on Bank Holidays cuz them's the rules) so seeing this film again is lifting the rainclouds for a couple of hours. I can confirm that the Baroness did, indeed, bring along her harmonica and after doing a bit of rummaging through Maria's closet she found that lovely dress that Maria wore the other evening when the Captain couldn't take his eyes off her. In one of the later scenes, the Baroness is discovered by the housekeeper in Maria's bedroom tearing said dress to shreds in a fit of pique. Isn't it funny how much more you see in a movie with each subsequent viewing.
