Taz, Chris Nolan's brother's name is Jonah(I forget which). I think he worked on The Prestige also, and he was the one that came up to Chris and said, "Have you read the first two Joker stories?". It was Jonah's idea to model the movie after the first two Joker stories.
Also, I thought I should let you all know that Jett at Batman On Film is going to be making Heath tribute t-shirts that he hopes he can get many to wear when they see TDK. All profits are going to go to charity preferably if it's a charity that Heath held near and dear to his heart. More information can be found here www.batman-on-film.com

Posted: 1/26/08 at 1:03amI'd like to change my submission for how I'm going to feel. I've decided I'm going to feel drunk. That's the only way I'll be able to get through it. I'm gonna be smashed and whenever the Joker's onscreen I'm gonna yell, "I miss you Keith. YOU shut up. I miss you Keith."

Not to be sarcastic, but why wouldn't you see TDK or would see Mamma Mia instead? Is it mainly because he died or are there other reasons for it?
A friend of mine sent me an article on Yahoo talking about how Warner Brothers might have to rethink their marketing for TDK since it's very Joker focused. It also mentioned that since his death, there has been alot of interest in it. People have been googling "heath ledger" along with "heath ledger joker pics", "why so serious", and other tag lines. An article on CBS 2's website said that alot of his movies have seen a very big spike in sales and that alot of people have been going on to You Tube to watch the TDK trailer and watching interviews with Heath.
Basically, Heath's death is getting the artist effect(I don't know how to phrase it), but it's like when an artist is living and doing his/her work and he/she doesn't get alot of reconition for it, but after he/she dies, the value of everything that he/she did goes up and everyone wants one. Heath is getting that now with everyone watching interviews, trailers, seeing photos, and buying his movies. I think every celebrity will go through that phase.

Posted: 1/27/08 at 3:55pmI would like to say how rude it is that this thread's title went from How are you going to feel when you see TDK to when you see the dead guy's movie. That's just disrespectful, and I don't care what motivated the person to change it or if they found it funny, it's just rude.

Tomato, tomahto, my friend. It's the same exact question asked for the same exact reason.
And, not to be picky, but in what universe is a man who was nominated for an Oscar not getting "alot" [sic] of recognition for his work?

Posted: 1/27/08 at 4:05pmIt was a description of what happens to certain artists. I never implied that Heath never had recognition, I just said that in light of his death, there has been a large interest in his movies including people You Tubing the TDK trailer, googling pictures of him as Joker on the set as Joker, and buy his dvds. That's what I meant, I never meant to imply that no one cared for his work.
