Hey, all! I am going to perform "A Fact Can Be a Beautiful Thing" with a friend in her recital, and would love to include the scene. It's too hilarious not to! Is there anywhere I can find the libretto of this scene? Also, could someone possibly point me in the direction of a video of Katie Finneran's performance? I'm probably going to get skewered for asking, but I would love to show her how Katie did it. Thanks in advance for the help!

A GOOD OPENING NUMBER REQUIRED

Funny you should ask. I was in charge of the production numbers for large, state-wide convention this fall, and it was cruise/sea-themed. Last night, I competed in (and won) a male pageant in my hometown while the rest of the world was watching the Miss America pageant. For the Talent Portion, I created a bit of a spoof of "A Chorus Line", taking top 40 hits, and putting a showtune twist on them. A lot of it went over the audience's heads, but I know you fellow theatre buffs will understand. Just wanted to share. Thanks! :)

9 to 5: The National Tour is ON

Next season was announced for Oklahoma City tonight, and looks like "9 to 5" will be making a stop here, as well as, "Shrek", "Burn the Floor", "Beauty and the Beast", and, "The Aluminum Show". Quite excited!

Man... I really wanted to like it.... I didn't. You can watch it here: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/ There is also a video of "The Telephone Hour" on there... Edit: Just watched "Telephone Hour", and it's the whole song, performed onstage. Worth a look. Not saying it was good, however.....
