Michelle, dearest, I even found a quote I liked from the movie
To Flora, Merriweather, Malificent (but he should not be called that!), and Tink, and everyone else who loves me and now knows how corrupt I really am!
Hi! You guys CRACK ME UP! It is so funny reading what happens when I'm gone! "A queen in each port" - you better believe it!
I'll post a review of Lennon soonish rather than later, and I don't have time to catch y'all up on everything.
The answer to the mystery person I met is that SHE is beyond well respected, and performed 24 performances as ANNA in "The King and I" - but that's not why you know her.
Figure out boys! Hugs and kisses to my fairy godfathers.
And BEAVER! You ROCK my world! (And he's the best host EVER) *Muah*

*sigh* I HATE guessing games *grrr*
But I'll guess Angela Lansbury.
I think it's Marie Osmond, Susan darlink.

"The person she met is such a famous, well respected and beloved Broadway veteran that I was surprised they were in San Francisco - especially at opening night of Lennon! Sorry - I know I am being mean with all the talk - but I am sooooo jealous I could spit!" -
I'll be disappointed if Marie Osmond could cause our beloved Cher to have THIS reaction!
My 'back-up' guess is Celeste Holm.
Perhaps..Lauren Bacall? She seems like she'd be a Beatles fan.

I can see Ms. Bacall more as having played the King.
My third and final guess will be Julie Andrews, and then I go straight to threats.
Ohhh Julie Andrews is a GREAT guess. Now if Shira doesn't tell us soon I say we tire her to a chair and make her watch "The Wizard of Oz"...5 times in a row.

That's not much of a threat, Michelle my love. I'm thinking more along the lines of Catwoman.
Oh yea....or The Rugrats Movie.
G'd morning from the Great PacNW.
DGrant... did end up at Pike Place yesterday. Lovely evening.
Ok... when is Shira going to spill the beans of who she met?

Tico - I actually dreamt about Pike's last night - I got hit with a fish
I'm wondering if they went to the double-feature and are still sleeping!
Well she better hurry up and post before someone drops a house on her !!!!! DG..we know she won't get that quote.

Boobs - I've envisioned watching OZ with her and having to hear over and over, "THAT'S what that was in Wicked!" Also, she'll have to go back and watch Angels in America again to catch all THOSE references.

AHHHH - together at last Just ducky at the south end - LOVELY weather! And Cher, dahling, Shira hasn't seen ANYTHING!
Morning Cher....you're looking beautiful today...now tell that Shira to post soon or else we're sending the flying monkees to get her. Also let all hum...oh E oh...E ohhhhhhhh O.

Hehe - when Michelle and I had her together in LA, we made her start a list, which kept growing and growing - when we were at dinner that night, she even had to get paper and pen from the waitress to keep it going - it was hyterical! I DO believe, however, that our point has been made, and she actually IS starting to get caught up. Robert and I have reserved the right to have her over for her initial OZ viewing THAT one still drops my jaw!

Of course she is - it's Mecca!
Seeing these three icons together is killing me
So Cher darlink..when are we getting together ??? I think you need a trip to NYC soon. We can go see a play, have dinner, drinks...you know those things that all good witches do.

Rath hasn't weighed in with her opinion on this yet
And Michelle, it's YOUR turn to come west

And it's natural
Hmmm, Michelle only wants to go to Coney for the hot dogs.

I only went to Coney Island once when I was very young - but I remember this horrible rickety wooden rollercoaster called the 'Cat and Mouse' that scared the BeeJesus out of me!
The Rocket never scared me - the ride, either.
Coney Island here we come...can we sing.."Under the Boardwalk" too?
