FINE! If you tell me you haven't seen Disney's Sleeping Beauty, we'll have to take a break while I dig out my punnishment tools . . .
Um, DGrant, I hate to tell you...
Take a break? (But I think I read the Disney book, YEARS ago)
It's all my parents' fault, blame them!

I just saw that Rath changed to Jack!
Shira, since you haven't seen EITHER ONE, it won't make any difference - so I'm switching witches

Beav - going back a page - what do you hear about The Color Purple on Broadway - Gary Griffin from Chicago directed it.
Well, when you can't keep your fairies straight...

All right, I've already had two complaints about my "scary" new icon. I feel like Tiff.

Rath - I love it - just turn 'em into pigs!
That's Malificent, right?
Rath, were you becoming my Devil Mom or something (based on Witches of Eastwick?)
DGrant - I would concur with your friends that Georgia "state law" does not carry a progressive label with regard to social matters at the present time...and is certainly not as progressive as California.
At the same time, I think that metro Atlanta ...on the whole... is very accepting of its growing diverse population. The tour of "Take Me Out" has extended it's sold out run at conservative Cobb County's Theatre in the Square and has drawn little or no negative reaction (as would have certainly been the case 10 years ago)...and "Naked Boys Singing" seems to be doing just fine with the Mayor of Atlanta's blessing. DeKalb County has the largest amount of gay couples (on a per capita basis) of any county in the U.S. Just my observations...

Jungle - that's good to hear. The other major thing they've talked about is the upper-middle class black population, which has stong ties to the churches, having a stronghold on city politics. I know the gay population is big and strong, but I wonder about them feeling isolated. For me, Atlanta is the home of Martin Luther King - one of my biggest idols in life
<------------I'm baaacccckkk. I hate turning into that damn pixie, but she can be fun playing with little boys.
So it's Merryweather Sarandon, Flora Cher, and Tinkerbell Pfeiffer...
Just so I'm caught up on everything.

Had to check in even if I'm running late for voice lesson... needed to find out who it was Shira met... awesome! Love her!
Almost left with all the Oz references. Even though I didn't see the movie until about 7 or 8 years ago, I choreographed it twice in a year and am over it for now.
