So, it's all over -- I've seen "All About Eve", and it may be one of the finest movies I have ever seen. Also, I now get every single reference in Ruthless -- it's very exciting.

I love All about Eve... have you seen "The Women"... if not, save it for your trip up here. We've got to watch that together.

We were just talking last night about All About Eve, The Women, Stagedoor, Sunset Blvd, Mildred Pierce, Madame X, and Imitation of Life as our favorite old movies.....

we actually found gay men in their 30's who had NEVER seen The Women........I actually told them to surrender their Gay cards until they watched it.

It's a must! I saw it onstage too in DC (a long time ago) and it was wonderful.

I'm getting all nostalgic about old films... must admit I haven't seen Mildred Pierce *ducks*

And I saw "42nd Street" for the first time today -- Tonight will be "Broadway Melody of 1940" OR something else, like "The L Word" -- we'll see.

I know, I know I need to see "Imitation of Life" (and a million others), but the stupid Hollywood Video doesn't have it.
