Awe - you're so sweet.
It just occured to me that I probably had it on VHS - I looked and sure enough, it was there. Unfortunately it looks like a very old, dying, kitty cat got to it first. 
OH - remember Leslie Nielson in his pre-comedy days? SUCH A HANDSOME CAPTAIN!

MY POSEIDON ADVENTURE STORY-
I saw it with my best friend, his sister and mother. She was on welfare, so she made us put a blanket over our legs and scrunch down so we could get the children's price (10 and under), when we were a little over 10 and rather tall.
Once inside, she spent all the savings on cigarettes and beer!

Hm. I remember going to see the Poseidon Adventure and I remember the song. That's pretty much my memory of the whole thing. Guess I'll see if anyone I know has it, so I can borrow it.

Posted: 2/1/05 at 7:40amthe poseiden adventure brings me back to this post's original question...how did we survive? i think it was my 8th or 9th birthday, whatever...i was young. my parents took my brother and myself to the top of the sears tower...the building was pretty new then, very exciting..it still is..next....drum roll please...of course they took us to see the movie "the towering inferno". my parents are sick and funny...bless their hearts.
