Awwww Mom....I remember riding in the car hoping that song would come on and asking my Dad to make it louder. It just means a lot to me I guess because I had a complete family at the time.
I'm goin' with David, though Bobby was cute, David was IT for me!
Boob's I have the old 45 holder, too. I don't have the fuzzy face cover over it, though. That's long gone!

Girly...I had Bobby hanging in my room...you'd think I would've known back then...geez !!!
BTW...I gave my fuzzy face to my sister so I have just the plain round holder now. Remember those metal circular things to hold the LP's ??? I didn't have one of those....I just stacked my albums against the wall until Mom broke down and bought a wall unit.
I had them both hanging on my walls and door, but I favored DC the most. Still have my PF lunchbox complete with thermos.

So folks what is the word on the new signiture and icon? It is all in honor of Spamalot. (tee hee)
Mom..LOVE the new Sign. and Icon..brilliant !!!
Girly..you must bring that lunch box to the slumber party.
I had my membership for the Partridge Family Fan Club too ...I put all their pictures that came in the package in my wallet. I wish I still had them...just for a good laugh.
Did anyone else ever feel sorry for Danny? The poor misunderstood middle child?
Mom....Danny was actually always my favorite.
I wasn't a huge fan of The Partridge Family. My tastes ran more to The Courtship of Eddie's Father and The Snoop Sisters.
Ah Mista Eddie's fata. Did you like Bill Bixby SOMMSY?
Yummy. And Mrs. Livingston was a role model for me on grace and quiet influence.
I see a resemblance too to you and Mrs. Livingston.

Morning, All
Bill Bixby was, is and will forever be in my top five for 'best all-around guy'.
Morning, DG!

Morning DG...I wasn't into Bill until my later years...I think he got better with age. I did love him on "My Favorite Martian".

Mr Bixby did indeed age well, just not NEARLY long enough. I was somewhat devastated when he died.
He was also one of the BEST Password panelists EVER
Bill Bixby and Elizabeth Montgomery ... two very classy, talented people.
Love Elizabeth too !!! Beautiful woman...all around.
I also love Eddies Father. Mrs Livingson was wonderful.

It seems that Ms. Montgomery was kind of the 'Susan Sarandon' of her day - just not quite as visibly or vocally due to the more restrictive cultural environment. But she was every bit as committed, aware and strong.
I think that's why she was so good and convincing in all of the movie's of the week she did later in her career.
Morning DG! Nice to see you. I'll be popping in and out during the day today. More snow, but it is quite pretty to look at. I think I'm going to hunker down and play Sims 2 today (too darn addicting)
wow, just read this entire thread and my life passed before my eyes
my mother wouldn't let me miss Hebrew School on the last day of "Dark Shadows" and I never really EVER forgave her
OK, here's a new sub-topic...
my first realization that I was gay was the mad crash I had on "Hymie The Robot" on GET SMART (played by Dick Gautier). His black hair, chisled featured, sturdy body...I knew I liked it in ways I didn't understand...actually, that's not true, I understood...I understood!!
Well, Marc, as I've posted before in other threads...
During my Partridge Family years, I was sure I had a big crush on David...realized much later the crush was actually on Shirley... *sigh*
Was Dick Gautier the original Birdie on Broadway???
