I'm going to see Good Vibrations today. That should feel summery.
Greg Evigan's from my town, but was a bunch of years ahead of me in school. Never heard of him until BJ and the Bear. Thought he was a cutie.
Midtown, will be curious to hear your thoughts on GV.

A new party for us adults. (Thanks Bboobs for sneaking me in)
First teen crush...Bobby Sherman.
Does anyone remember "Hey, Little Woman" his first single?

David Cassidy girl here. Bobby Sherman - ick.
Beacon.."Little Woman" was my favorite of his and I still have the 45. My grandfather's favorite was Julie,Do you love me. He made that play that over and over for him.
Back then and to this day, people still sing Julie, do you love me, to me, changing the words just a tad. None of them sound a bit like Bobby, AT ALL!

Do any of you foks have satelite radio? We haveXM and they have a set of stations dedicated to songs from the 40's on 4 the 50's on 5. Well you get the picture, the 60's and 70's staions sre such a stroll down memory lane.
Well must be off. Glad to see you beacon! Did you get my PM?
BBL!!
hugs
I'd sing....Girly,Girly,Girly do you love me? Girly,Girly,Girly Do you care? Girly,Girly, are you thinking of me? Girly,Girly will you still be there?
Crap. Now that song is stuck in my head. Which it actually always is when I hear the name Julie anyway.
Sorry Rath darling. Would rather have ..."I'm Henry the 8th" I am stuck in there??? Second verse same as the first.
Ah, now I definitely hear Bobby! Must be the "Girly".
Boobs, you make me laugh!

Can we talk about the sexiest man of 1977, 1978 and 1979. Eric Estrada! And... look what happened to him. He's bloated and appearing on infomercials. But at least he's recognizable, unlike Farrah Fawcett, who ironically looks like a witch after all her surgery.
Well it's there now, Boobs!!! Damn you. Although I'm hearing the Patty Duke version which is rather adorable.

Rath...
Well...I loved Bobby until I discovered David Cassidy.
I loved David until I discovered Donny Osmond...that continued through my sophmore year of college (he's a year older than me) and he got married (darn that Debra Glenn from Provo!)
I have an abiding love for Barry Manilow (his music is to die for) and my next big crush was Tom Selleck as Magnum PI...
Then Michael J. Fox...
Then Mikhail Baryshnikov (thanks to "White Nights"). I have a wonderful Reading program/Library promotion poster of him leaning on a dance barre with a towel over his shoulder and holding a copy of "Crime and Punishment"
Then I discovered Jimmy Smits on L.A. Law...
Then Harrison Ford... (I forced a date to rent "Final Cruscade" for us and then listen to me squeal at certain points. Poor guy. I beat him at Trivial Pursuit that night, too. The date, not Harrison.)
Then...various flavors of the month...
Then I watched Angels in America and discovered the current main object of my affections... Patrick *sigh* Wilson
My "real life" loves have been incredibly patient when I insist on watching programs or movies to get my "crush fix".

Oddly, Bboobs...you are close.
He and his family always talk very candidly about their faith and I was intrigued by the things they would say. Watching Donny and Marie being interviewed by Barbara Walters one evening and the family demonstrating a "Family Night" (a church program called Family Home Evening where you set aside one night a week, usually Mondays, to stay home and be with your spouse and kids) really touched my heart. So...I borrowed a copy of the Book of Mormon from a classmate who was a theology major amassed quite a collection of books. And I read it...
The rest is "history"...
Aren't you glad you asked!!!!

Beacon, I don't think I could even remember all my crushes, let alone know when they ended and the next one began. Now that I think about, they didn't end, they just got added to.
