oh Calvin, we have a 6AM flight from Edinburgh to Madrid the day before my birthday, which probably means we have to be AT the airport at 4-4:30....ugh

Posted: 4/3/08 at 3:06pmBlech! Not only is it early, but that's a dreary time to be at an airport. No counters are open. The only people there are security guards and disgruntled travelers who had to spend the night in the airport because of missed connections and such.

Yes, even I wouldn't know where that is if I didn't look it up!
It is nothing but a small dot on the map when I took the I-84 to get from Salt Lake City to Portland, Oregon. But it is the further point north of that journey I did take.

Oslo, Norway and St. Petersberg, Russia, with Helsinki, Finland winning over the other two by a narrow margin.
I'll soon be in Alaska, but not quite as far north as I was in Europe.
