My boyfriend was a recent joinee and got me interested, because I've always been a performer, and interested in all things theatrical!
"I don't really get the ending,all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang,and later she kissed him on the toilet,after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung,and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen,and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady?Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I'm trying to remember the Russian I learned when I sang Prokofiev's IVAN THE TERRIBLE last year... so I can respond appropriately...

Four years in high school but I've lost practically all of it. I think Russian before French.

absolutely. Many times. When I was back last year it was interesting to see how much had been damaged in the terrible storms they had not long ago. Many of the trees were lost.

I'm going to try a London/Paris trip in late January after some work in The Netherlands. I want to see Mary Poppins before it gets to NYC.

I've been to Moscow and Saint Petersburg but never Paris.

I've been to London many times but I've always been nervous about Paris. I really don't remember enough French to get by.
I had trouble in Montreal for not speaking French, imagine Paris?

Vienna, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Tel Aviv, Cairo, Lisbon, Singapore, Edinburgh, Monte Carlo, Torino - some of my favorite places. Need to check Paris off the list.

Absolutely need to be back in Russia again and soon.

Don't worry about Paris. You'll love it. And you won't need to be fluent in French to get by...

Add Prague to my list of favorite cities...

I want to get back to St. Petersburg next June...plans are in the works.

Lucky you!
Make sure you see Pavlovsk and the Alexander Palace in Tsarskoe Selo (Pushkin). You might have already. When I was there very few rooms had yet to be restored at the Alexandrinsky Dvoyets, but I hear much work has been done since.

I was last there in 1999, so am looking forward to a return visit. Especially during White Nights.
