Awwwweee shameless, that's very sweet of you. I guess I thought he was out of my league because he was a bit older and the total package; good looks and a complete sweetheart.

Now as for the book He's Just Not That Into You.... oy did that book ever mess with my head. I much prefer the book Kiss My Tiara: How to rule the world as a smartmouth goddess

CJR - Your welcome. It just surprised me I guess. Not that I think your stuck up, but you seem very confident or very self-assured.

I didn't think you would be the type of person that would feel that way or ever admit it, if they did. Does that make sense? I don't want to compliment you and then turn around and offend you.

Hell, I don't admit it when I feel like that. Then again, it doesn't happen much. re: How'd you get your guy/girl?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

You make perfect sense and I'm not at all offended. Yes, I am pretty confident in the person I am..... and I will admit that I do have the attitude of 'if you don't like me, oh well'... but as for anything else, I personally don't think I'm anything to write home about re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

For as confident and outgoing as I appear (even in person) I'm actually pretty shy and whatnot.

I'm usually shy too, especially around new people, but once I get comfortable - lookout!

Here, it's a little easier, I'll say almost anything. LOL.

I totally understand that! I'm like that a lot of the time... but if I get comfortable around you..... oh buddy. Let the fun begin!

That's me exactly, and people are like where the hell did you come from? What happened to that nice quiet girl? LOL.

The way I got my husband...umm..I'm not sure. We were best friends and then we just kissed one day and that was it. He never asked me out so to speak, but he proposed about a year and a half later and we have been married for a year and half as of this coming Sunday re: How'd you get your guy/girl? Good luck!

Spend a lot of time with the guy, send out signals like crazy, and just let it happen naturally. Thats what happened with me. The guy didn't know I was gay cause I hadn't come out (I eventually did just so I could be with him), so I spent lots of time with him while we were in a show together and sent him all kinds of signals. We ended up being in a show together right after that and since he had a bigger part than me, he would always have to stay at rehearsals later than me. I would always stay after I was dismissed to talk to him... he always had to wait for his ride, so I would always stay and wait with him. We were walking out one night after a long conversation and he said something like, "I really enjoy getting to talk with you like this," and I said, "Yea, I really enjoy our time together." I think that was when we both realized that we had feelings for each other. A few days later, I had a half day of school, he asked if I wanted to come over after school. I went over we spent the day together and then at the end of the day (and after many a shared romantic clance lol) he "popped the question" so to speak. We've now been dating for three months.

Just let it happen naturally.

Aww such a cute story!
I'm happy for you! :)
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.
