How'd you get your guy/girl?

I've liked this guy for almost 6 years now and we're pretty good friends and I cannot tell if he likes me back but sometimes it really seems like he does, and other times it's like wtf does that mean. But anyway, if you liked someone how did you get them? There's no way I'll ever have the courage to ask him out partially because we're friends and that's awkward, but is there anything to do to like grab his attention? lol. Thanks..sorry about this lovey post.
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. Flirt like crazy! Pay little atentions and sweet talk... they'll get the picture, and, if it happens they don't feel the same way you can say you were just being friendly and ask them what they thought you were doing!

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

I understand. This question has actullay been asked to me more than once but I'm afraid that I don't have any usable advice. My friend had this same problem just recently and she flirted A LOT. She even got the student award for 'biggest flirt'.

I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.

Or you could just sit them down and talk to them. Find out how they're feeling. Although, if you're young-ish, that wont work. Guys tend to not respond well to that when they're younger.

For me, I had a RAGING crush on a friend of mine for the longest time. I wrote it off, thinking I never stood a chance with him, he flirted with everyone and he was way out of my league. This one night he asks me to dinner and we set a date for later in the week. I remember being a complete spazz.... I didnt know if we were just two friends going to dinner or if it was a date. The morning of the 'date' he called me to confirm all the details of where we were meeting and such. He asked me outright how I felt about him -- was this just a friends thing or did I have feelings beyond that. Of course I did, and I told him so.... come to find out he felt the same way about me. re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

Though, this happened after almost 3 years of being friends and 3 years of flirting mercilessly with each other lol

Get your friends to ask him out for ya that's what I do in my school. Well I'm younger then you to so its kinda weirder I guess. That's how people get guys/girls in my school and that's how they dump them too.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

That's kind of like passing the note:

"Do you like me?

Yes. No. Maybe.

Circle one."

I get the impression girlfortartaglia is younger than I am, but I don't think she's young enough for that to still be cute.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

My school is really tiny..things like asking friends to ask guys doesn't really work in my school ...it always turns out wrong from waht I've seen. Plus the guy I like is the token guy out of my group of friends who are girls..Dating a friend I've been told is not a good way to go either..

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

Honestly, the most solid relationships are built on a solid and strong friendship.

Why would you want to be in a relationship with someone you're not already friends with? Wouldn't you like it better if you *were* friends with the man or woman in your life?

it can be brilliant! The best partners are the best of friends... but ofcourse if it ends you could lose a friend. Dating a friends younger sibling is the dangerous one!

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

I'm afraid of
a. telling him I like him and he saying that he doesnt feel the same way about me and then everything would be awkward
b. the above but then the rest of my friends being awkward about it too
c. telling him, him saying yes..then eventually we break up and we're not friends anymore.

His signals are very very weird also..whatever signals they may be.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

Again, if it's a strong friendship, you'll be able to stay friends even if the relationship fails. You tried, it didn't work and you move on. Of course, the only time you're screwed with that is if it's a messy breakup. THEN you stand to lose a friend.

I'm an expert on the whole dating your best friend thing.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

A friend of mine had a crush on a close frined of hers' and he found out. She got over it and they're still frineds so maybe it wouldn't be that bad if he doesn't feel the same way about you.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

Is there any way to tell if someone likes you or not? I know that question has soo many different answers, but like, whenever all of my friends and I are talking and he starts talking he basically only talks to me and locks eyecontact for the whole time he's talking. We used to talk A LOT online, but all of my friends and I had a fight so we didnt talk, but now everythign is perfect again but we still don't really talk a lot online anymore.. We share a lot of interests, and he's kind of a sensitive guy. *Sigh* I don't even know what to say lol.

How old are you, if you don't mind my asking? That will give me a better perspective and make it easier for me to answer those questions.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

I'm going to be 16 in September..but I'm like completely different from any other girl at my school..I go to a rich white kid 'wanna be gangster' school where all the girls are pretty unintelligent, superficial, and slutty.
I'm definately mature for my age, and the guy is..he's probably how any other guy is at 15 going on 16.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

These questions have been running through my mind since I was 9 about the same guy lol..I'll admit that's very weird/pathetic on my part..6 years of just wondering and never knowing and never really trying to figure out until now .

Oh my god I have exactly the same problem I like my best friend but I don't wanna ask him out cause I'm fairly sure he would think I was joking. Actually that could work. You could ask him out and if he says yes then great and if he says no you could pretend you were joking!

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

Lol I actually thought about doing that..but again, lack of courage to do so on my part. It's definately the fear of rejection/possible awkwardness.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

I think I'm developing a crush on one of my good guy friends. I always feel weird when I talk to him. I don't really want to have this crush, yet I feel I should tell him how I feel because next year he'll be a senior and I'll be a junior and he'll be leaving next year. What do you think?

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

Tell him!
Not that I can say much, cause I'm not gonna tell the guy I like. But if he's leaving next year then you might not get another chance after that.

re: How'd you get your guy/girl?

BRoadwaygirl22..I'm not much for giving advice, since I'm asking for it myself lol, but I'd say tell him becuase if he is leaving then nows the time to know. And even if this sounds bad, if he says no, he'll be leaving, so it wont' be as awkward if anything turns awkward.

:)
