for the radio. that led me to the rest of the site. lurked for a good long time (over a year i think), then joined but was still too scared to post. then i started with a question about the phantom movie and i've never looked back!!

First of all, Jai, I LOVE that you have Terra as your icon. That's my absolute FAVORITE picture.

That being said, I came here when BWW first started up, it was just one message boards, and it was being advertised on all the other message boards because of the fans choice awards.

I was a longtime poster on Broadway.com and that board was going under right around the time BWW started up. A lot of us migrated here.

Like CJR, I came over from Broadway.com once their board was shut down. I believe CJR's username used to be VelmaKelly, right? Mine was the same as it is now--boring and not very creative.

I had a friend who posts on here every so often. I was searching for a sight he had that had some pictures I wanted. I couldn't remember the address and was too lazy to go downstairs and get it. I was googling random things I could remember about him that might be on his sight. One was his AIM screen name. It lead me to his user profile on here and...voila! I was introduced to the wonderful world of BWW. Just think what might have happened if I had been energized enough to go get the little slip of paper with the website on it. It makes me shiver to even think about it.

The same way I find everything, through the power of Google.

I guess I was looking for a Broadway related website. At first, I was just reading the news on the main page. About three weeks later, I noticed the message board, and life has never been the same.:) This is the only message board I've ever posted on.
