Long Islanders braced themselves for this storm but all this area has experienced is rain. Lots of steady (and much-needed) rain. There have been no winds in Central Suffolk. I don't know how badly the East End is doing.

Not too much here in Boston as far as I can tell. Rain, but nothing to write home about. Although VERY recently, the wind has picked up a bit.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

My friends in Va. Beach said they hardly got anything - at least not compared to what the weather peeps had said.....

This morning is absolutely beautiful on Long Island! Humidity's gone and everything is well-watered. Time for breakfast out on the deck!
