HAHAHA justagirl! I'm actually the exact opposite though. When I drink my mind thinks that it's like some alternate universe where I can eat whatever I want and my body won't face any consequences once I'm not drunk anymore haha

Okay ladies, I going back to the original topic...sort of. I like being a girl, because I can think things like this are completely adorable!

One of my the members that I work with sent me these pictures from Australia. Here's the explanation, then the pics. So freakin' cute. (Let's see if I can get the pictures to work...)

It's been very VERY hot in the south and southeastern part of the Australia in the past couple weeks (end of january / early february) with temperatures at 45C (113F) for a week in south Australia and in the low to mid 40s in Melbourne and Victoria. all the wildlife suffers significantly in such heat, and here is an example of that.

Koalas don't drink water like most other animals, getting most of their water from the food they eat. in extreme circumstances, though, they will drink water if they can find it.

FYI for those non-australians- koalas are not kept as pets because it's illegal in all states of australia. They're not predisposed to being a classic pet either, unlike 'roos or most birds, which people are able to keep legally. So this little mate showed up and asked for help...

These photos show a little Koala which just walked onto a back porch looking for a bit of heat relief. The woman filled up a bucket for it and this is what happened...

Yeah...I sorta can't get over it! So freakin' cute. Except his little arm makes him look a little like a gremlin when he's wet. Still....gahhhhhh....cute

Have you seen the commercial for Pillsbury Crescent rolls with the little girl in the cold and she's clicking her heels like Dorothy? I think she is soooo adorable!

Ah, me too. I'm trying desperately to finish a book though, and am tempted to not let myself go to bed until I do.
