Taz, I'm looking online and it appears to be real. The guy who did it has designed other tattoos like it...

You first.
Or maybe just tattoo 'butthole' on your forehead.

Oh, I wouldn't know the difference between a tattoo and body paint, that was just a lame attempt to pretend I thought it was real.

Posted: 9/2/12 at 2:38amThat looks AWESOME! Tattoos will always be out of the question for me though because of my absolutely insane fear of needles.

Posted: 9/2/12 at 3:50amI LOVE tattoos, but I have a metal allergy. I have two, in pretty hidden places, so whenever I get sick, the kind of pop up like scars. I would have a dozen more if it wasn't obvious my body was trying to reject them.

Posted: 9/2/12 at 4:25amI think JC knew with what tone I intended my post, TheatreDiva. As always, if you have an issue with me, as you seem to, either ignore me, or send me a PM.

Posted: 9/2/12 at 5:53amIt seems like a butt hole tattoo would come with its own set of hygiene issues.

That is cool. I would love the one with the zipper on the guy's shoulder that JC linked to. Based on the tattoos I've gotten I'd guess that arm one would probably take a good six hours...probably very painful hours too, based on the sensitivity of the area.
If you run your fingers lightly along the inside of your arm, and then the outside, you see the BIG difference in sensitivity. It hurts less when in muscled areas. Though the one on my chest hurt more the closer it got to my nipple, even though it never got closer than 2 inches from it.
I got one on my calf this summer that took two hours. The thing about tattoos and pain though is that once they start in on you, it really only hurts until it occurs to you that, at that point, there's no turning back. So you resign yourself to the pain and just meditatively endure it.
