I loaned Fr. Jerry my ALTAR BOYZ CD. He wanted to hear it through before deciding on whether we should plan a parish trip to the show. (We'll be going the the fall.)
At Mass yesterday, he was delivering his homily when a cellphone went off. Everyone looked around to see who the culprit was. It turned out it was Fr. Jerry's phone.
He reached under his vestments and pulled out his phone and took the call. There was some sort of blabber about "Do you think they'd believe it?" and "They won't listen to me, do you think they'll listen to you?".
When the call was finished he said, "That was Jesus...He called me on my cellphone" Obviously he'd arranged with someone to call him at a specific time at each mass so he could use the gimmick.
After Mass I told him he should pay the ALTAR BOYZ royalties for stealing an idea for one of their songs.

Did he touch it inappropriately and threaten it with eternal damnation if it told anyone?

Already done in the 1970s. Comedian Jerry Jordan did a 5 minute sketch called "Phone Call From God" which was very funny.
Don't lend him any Madonna!!!! (Like a Prayer!)

Don't lend him the Streisand CD with "He Touched Me" on it. Who knows where that could lead!

>>>"Okay, your pastor is officially gayer than you are."<<<
It's funny you should mention this. Last night my son and daughter-in-law attended the last performance of GYPSY with me. On the way home they told me I was "the straightest gay guy" there.
Dollypop - funny, when I saw the first performance of GYPSY, on the way there I was called the "gayest straight guy."
