Hello everyone.
I'm new to the boards and thought I'd make a proper introduction. I'm 16, a Junior in High School and am a honest-to-good Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli fan. I admire these two ladies more then a lot of people, and they deserve a lot of gratitude I think. The musicals I like the most include: Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, Gypsy, Assassins, Chicago, Side Show, Bat Boy, Little Shop, A Chorus Line etc etc. I like to act and sing, and prefer musicals to straight plays. My favorite TV show is Sex And The City and Sarah Jessica Parker is another goddess to me.
Well that's just a tiny but of what I'm like, and so far love these boards and the people here seem nice for the most part. I believe I shall have a nice stay here. Thank you all for reading.

I ADORE Musicals as well--especially those from The Golden Age--plus I'm really into Hollywood Musicals as well--Astaire/Rogers, Garland/Kelly--all that.
Looks like we share similar tastes!

Welcome luvliza. When I was 16, Liza kissed me on the cheek and let me hold her dog's leash. Thirty years later, I met her a second time--and she said she remembered.
Have you seen the episodes of the Judy Garland TV show that are out on DVD? It's almost like being in ... the audience for one of her concerts.
