I'm going to miss Jane. re: I escaped! If she ever feels ready to come back, I vote we throw her a parade. Farewell to one of the few remaining bastions of sanity this website has known, and I hope she has a bloody good time while she's gone. :)

Blessings in all you do!

Wow Jane- I don't know what happened to make you want to escape. I hope you will come back someday to share your photos as well. Personally, I use this board TO escape. I like listening to all sides of the story- even if I don't agree. Again, I will miss you. You are one of the few posters that I have actually met in person. (by the way everyone- she is ADORABLE)

I love Jane!

Sometimes people need some time away for whatever reason. If and when she decides to come back I'll be happy to see her. I'll miss her presence here but wish her the very best.

Ah, maybe not Elphaba. At least a week of days I was by my mother's hospital bed, almost 24/7. So maybe you were right on after all.

Oy, this is the first time I went back and read this thread. Truly! Thanks so much for the kind words.

Hey, I never meant to leave here permanently-I escaped from the bullsh!t that was getting in the way of my enjoying this place. Plus, I had to fly down to Florida as my mother took quite ill and had another heart attack while in ICU!

I resumed posting as I would imagine those posters have lost interest in personally involving me with their issues. It's been around a month, I guess.

Sorry to hear about your mother. That's a hard thing to go through. I hope she's improving.

Sometimes it's good to get away from something, someplace or someone for awhile and refresh. The internet is not exactly the real world and you can sometimes come across people you would never invite into your home nor even want to sit down to dinner with.

Some people will say things they wouldn't dream of saying if you were standing in front of them, or if they did, you wouldn't want to associate with them anyway. Having said this, I don't know what issues you were dealing with since I only skim this site anyway. I take some stuff I read here seriously, some with a grain of salt.

But I'll bet that bird in your user pic is hungry.

No, not necessary - it's just that you seem to have run below my particular radar (which isn't difficult, of late.)

Don't know anything about your history, but for whatever reason, you seem to be everywhere I look all of a sudden.

And it isn't worth looking at - on any level.

You just carry on, and become part of the 'white noise' that much of the rest of this board has become.
