I highly doubt Famous Amos will make the airing.
Lots of people had questions, namely critics which is why the film flopped. It was bad and not in a Showgirls way.
I couldnt get past that the club had no money, but the burlesque shows had better production values than Wicked.
Most broke bars smell like pee, have bartenders with missing teeth and strippers that look like Marilyn Manson. That club was amazing!!!!
Also, why hire Kristen Bell and Julianne Hough if you dont let them sing a note. Just hire random back up dancers.
I haven't seen it in a while but my favorite line from Cher was something like: "Honey I don't have the time to stop you from pouring Tequila in your cheerios!".

The whole thing was very odd- the plot made no sense. I commented it played like it had been written by a fourth grader. I especially liked how the "bad guy" offered A MILLION DOLLARS for the club then later announced he'd pay "TWO MILLION" for it. Then they made a BIG DEAL out of showing the ADDRESS ("8080 sunset blvd") which would mean the property alone would be worth several million. Not to mention the fact that he had an architect draw up a plan and a model for a location he had no reason to expect he'd get.
It's not a very good movie, but I have a hard time hating it. I actually thought Aguilera was fairly appealing, especially considering the script she was working with. Most of the scenes with Cher were very repetitive (all of the scenes about her financial problems) and were obviously just there to pad the movie out between musical numbers.
^ I agree. I didn't hate it, but it certainly is no masterpiece. I'll admit at some point I did forget Cher was in it because she sort of disappeared for awhile. I haven't seen the movie since I went to the theater though.
If you're going to slum it, you might as well slum it with Stan and Cher.
What got me is how good looking the bartender was. Too hot to be working that hell hole of a place.

Red that's exactly what I said- if you are recreating Busby Berkely numbers between strip acts hosted by Cher in a bar in WeHo, that guy would be a MUCH bigger draw than any of those women.
The movie gets much better after a bottle or two of two buck Chuck!
