I realize this post is probably better suited to the Student Board, but since I know people who don't read that board, I figured I'd post it here. I hope no one yells at me.
So anyway, I got into the University of Chicago (Early Action), and I'm very excited!!

My decision is actually not completely made, Addy. It's non-binding, so I am applying to other schools, just so I have options. U of C is my second choice, with Columbia being my first. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but it's a comfort to know that I don't have to be worrying until March.

I did my graduate work at Columbia, so have a soft spot in my heart for that school. It would be wonderful to have you in New York if that works out.

U of Chicago is an excellent school. Congratulations on your acceptance there.
