Well, if you're a stripper, there's always the no-hands policy! Chances of getting an STD would be pretty low, unless you're shooting up with dirty needles on the side or...never mind. But anyway, I bet you'd be safe. I know too much about this.

A friend of mine used to work the bar at a strip club and kept trying to learn how to pole dance and falling off, bless!
There are so many strip clubs in my neighbourhood, if I wanted a job I'd be totally spoilt for choice!

When I was in college I worked at this bar and there was a strip club like 4 doors down. One of the girls who worked there was constantly trying to get my roomate and I to dance there. Which was ridiculous because we both had small boobs.

Strippers don't have to have large breasts. Punters have different preferences for all sorts, and there's probably plenty of men who'd love to see something small but perfectly formed.

I'd consider being a stripper, but it's my lack of dancing ability, general fitness, and people skills rather than all-too-human body that puts me off. XD

LMAO!!! Weez I can see where you're coming from. My people skills in that situation would go completely out the window. While I can dance, I'd rather not do it in front of a bunch of guys who'll eventually try to play grab-ass with me. Don't get me wrong I love the attention, but I'd be fired on the spot for knocking out a patron who's hand lingered a little too long on my thigh after slipping me a single.

Seriously, it's not looks that matter in stripping. You need to be willing to take your clothes off, able to dance in at least a semi-alluring style, and capable of pretending you're enjoying the company of the slightly-creepy men who will be your customers. Doesn't matter what your face or body is like, 'cos someone will enjoy watching you dance. You also don't have to stand for as much rubbish from customers as people in other people-focused roles, which is nice.

Shoot, this thread went to stripping and prostitution in my absence! Weez is right, relatively small breasts that are well formed will attract men, btw. Stripping and prostitution are two very different things in America, but not so in Eastern Europe where the strippers are available for hire. I have a friend in America who strips and it's a strictly professional gig for her. She has a boyfriend (who sometimes gets insanely jealous but really doesn't need to worry). The likelihood of her getting STDs from the job are nil. Has anyone seen the film "Yellow" ? It's pretty accurate. And for a good film about prostitution see "Princesas", one of my friends is in that film, she's a professional actress.

I know a lot of call girls in Russia. I've been researching an espionage film that has call girls in it. So I went to the source. The girls I met were graduates from the Institute of Foreign Languages and could converse in at least 6 major languages. They got into prostitution because after the collapse of the Soviet Union they were only qualified to be teachers, since the KGB no longer needed them. So they had the choice of making $15. -$20 a month as a teacher with no jobs available, or making $200-300. a night as a call girl. And the stories they told! They were the only ones who could float between government, the mafia and foreign business with relative ease.

EDIT: the $200. - 300. was the post Soviet amount after the collapse, compared to the standard Communist salary of $20. month. Now they make international prices. In America call girls make $1-2,000. a night. But there is a problem. The pay is so good it's hard to leave the profession and the crap they have to take is very stressful for them.
