"Whether this Thanksgiving centerpiece incites horror, amazement, or confusion when it’s served, it’s certain to evoke some kind of outburst."
It's a whole thanksgiving dinner in layer cake form! GENIUS! As Grandma used to say "it all ends up in the same place anyway!"
Slice me up!
I...wow.
It looks a lot like a carrot cake, which is throwing me for a loop.

It's sort of like a Turkey meatloaf frosted with taters, which sounds yummy to me. I'd skip the marshmallows tho.
oh, it's probably delicious! Anything with mashed taters is ace, but my brain still can't quite digest it.
I just sent that link to a friend and she's going to make it!
It's basically the same as the meatloaf cake, but better because of the stuffing! I bet it's yummy!
I'd have to skip the marshmallows too. (I never liked them with sweet potatoes anyway)
I know what I'm making too. Reservations.

That Cake really needs a wreath of Brussels Sprouts to make it sing!
It is sorely lacking in the veggie department.
I suppose that you could put in a layer of Green Bean Casserole.
That's flippin' hilarious.
All I could think of after clicking the link was this:
Good, Yummy, and...Wait, What?!
My Twitter buddies are slightly confounded. Is it fairly common to put marshmallows on top of sweet potato, or is this something special just for this cake?
I'm a big fan of the after Thanksgiving sandwich: Turkey, stuffing and cranberries -- but I might even have to pass on the cake.
It might not need the green beans...just those crunch onion things that go on top!

This really is just a more labor intensive version of what I do when eating the Thanksgiving leftovers, which is to throw turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy in a bowl, microwave, stir it all up and enjoy.
Weez - Marshmallows on top of sweet potatoes is traditional. And awesome. Maple/orange glaze or pecan/brown sugar crumble are also fairly common.
My favorite thing for the day after Thanksgiving is what I like to call "Turkey Bowl!" Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, noodles, sauerkraut, dressing, and more gravy! Put it in a bowl, heat it up, and it's much easier than this cake!
