Posted: 6/9/07 at 11:43pmI, personally, love Patti when she's riffing or she's slurring.

Log rolling? Interesting. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd love Patti if she were square dancing, or quilting, or churning butter.
Scratch that. I've just described Patti in a revival of Oklahoma and I really wouldn't love that at all.

Posted: 6/10/07 at 12:00amI'd love Patti kicking Glenn Close in the face.

Come on! I could see her as Aunt Eller. Only when she put the gun to Carnes' head, she'd actually shoot him
I think it would add an interesting twist to the show.
We all would, ahmelie.

Hahaha! As soon as you said the churning butter thing, I imagined her in Oklahoma.

Posted: 6/10/07 at 12:51amI don't know too much about Patti, but I was watching the Sondheim Carnegie Hall Special Performance today, and she was singing Marry Me a Little if I remember correctly. She had big hair, lol.
