When you decide you need a fresh start and are going to create a new screen name, do us a favor and just tell us who you used to be and that for whatever reason you want to clean the slate and try again. People will respect that much more.

The best invention for BWW would be a six month period during which faux new posters had a message like "I used to be elphabanoodge23" in their sig files.

I think some users won't have enough space in their sig line.
