Drink liquids like water, clear juice or tea to fill up. Another good tummy filler is watermelon.

I dont need to look at the fattest man pictures. The kids I teach remind me EVERY SINGLE DAY that I'm overweight--with this like "Have you always been fat?" "How can you be fat and be a vegetarian at the same time?" "Did you know that shirt makes you look fat?"

darn kids

george, judging from what I can see, if any of those people in your avatar are you, you're not fat.

And how old are these kids that you teach?

wow thanks sweetq but I am overweight....i'm 6' and about 202 lbs.

My students are between 14 and 19.

And I'm the white dude in my avatar. The 3 black guys are my former students from about 4 years ago who came home with me on a trip to Chicago last summer. The one guy is holding my newest godson Aidan!

Joe, I'm now calling you MoJo.

He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

Hey George - don't go buy a pkg of cookies....go to Starbucks or somewhere like that and buy just one cookie and a cup of tea or coffee. Be healthy! Do it for your God children.

Yeah - everything is ok in moderation.

Personally, I like break and bake. Those chips ahoy aren't worth the calories.

Starbucks has far better cookies.

Or Dean and Deluca if you're in the city. Gosh...I love Deen and Deluca....

sigh...

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

I can't relate, I hate packaged cookies. Make some from scratch, and I'm there!

I am sorry to admit........that I did end up going out and getting a package of bite-size Chips Ahoy.

One of my diet rules (none of which seem to work) is that if I really am dying for something, I should let myself go get it. AT least living here I have to walk a few blocks to the store--not like the suburbs where I would have to drive.

But tonight I'm about to head out to kickboxing class.

I will get that craving again....and a piece of fruit won't cut it again! Grrrr!

I do something similar to the google image searching the fat people. When I have cravings like this, I go on facebook and look through the photos of my overweight friends who never get laid. Looking at google images of the world's fattest man is very abstract, and it's too easy to just see him as a distant, ridiculous character. Look at real people who have weight problems that harm their social lives, like people from your classes or work or whatever who have friended you for some reason. Real photos of real far people I have contact with are always guaranteed to scare me into being healthy.

(Note: make sure you look through the photos that other people have tagged, not the ones that this person has tagged of himself or herself, as this person probably only tags photos that creatively downplay and distort his or her true appearance.)

Everything in moderation. Once in a while is OK.

Raspberry--

Your "overweight friends who never get laid"?

How lucky they are to have you as a "friend."

Well, it's not like I'm mocking them to their faces or anything. Just looking at their pictures in private for my own personal betterment. And besides, I'm just taking about "Facebook friends," not "friend friends" in the old, real-world sense of the term. Like I said, they added me. If you're serious about dieting, you should at least try this approach--it does wonders for me.
