I need to design my room!

Over the summer, I would like to clean my room out and fill up some serious empty space. I'm looking for decorations, nothing big like a desk. Any suggestions/websites where I can get what I'm looking for? Any ideas about how I should change my room? Also I'm looking for a new duvet cover (and I'm a boy).

Why don't you post a picture of your room? Then we can all draw up our plans and present them to you...just like HGTV. The winner will take your budget and decorate your room for you.

Many furniture store websites have pages where you can layout a room. Most allow you to place furniture, put in dimensions, and measure spaces.

What I like to do is draw out the space/room on a piece of paper and draw where you're gonna put the furniture, and work from there. You can get inspiration from books, magazines (such as Dwell, Domino), and catalogs. A walk through Ikea might be worth the trip. Ikea showrooms are decent and will give you a couple of good ideas.
