no, i merely pointed out that he's yet to serve at a post higher than state senator. i think that it'll take more than one speech to make him the annointed savior and heir to bill clinton's mantle. but, i did suggest that he be given some credit because it was in fact his first speech using a teleprompter which was evident as he was still playing to the hall and not the cameras.

Hi. I'm voting for John Kerry. I generally support Democrats. And I'm going to wait and see before I declare Obama the savior of the Democratic party.
"He crosses over party lines and connects to everyone, even better than John McCain."
Wow. Did I actually say that once upon a time?
I tend to forget that there was a time when I liked John McCain, before I discovered who he really was and didn't buy the MSM's picture of him any longer. And, of course, before he sold the rest of his soul to the Devil.
Looking at this thread, a lot of opinions have shifted in four years.
2 points for dry2olives making an early call. More for Papa calling him a savior. Is Papa pyschic?

I think papa is a closeted Independent who parades as a Republican on the boards just to be different.
nope. registered republican. and i didn't say he was a savior, i said it would take more than one speech to make him the savior.
all that said, he's still only the savior if he wins. if he loses it could very well tear the party apart in an orgy of finger pointing i told you sos.
