OMG!
I <3 heart <3 BTVS. My Papa used to call me Buffy when I was little, long before the movie even came out... the movie was retarded, but the series is FABS. My dream is they'll one day turn Buffy into a stage musical and I can play her. Actually, some of my friends actually still call me Buffy, but in no correlation to the show.
"You look like a Buffy. I picture you with friends named Muffy, Candi, and Mandi."
Insulted? I should be, but ironically enough... I'm not. LOL.
Aww, Eric, you can be Xander in my stage version! Vish can be Cordelia.

But Cordy's not in the musical!
Vish will have to settle for Dawn.

I'm totally Xander. I even named my dog Alexander LaVelle Harris. Is that not sad?
You'd make a great Buffy, D_H. Would we cast Papa as the First or the Master, though?

Has no one seen the musical?
The first and the master are not in it!
Cast Papa as the demon Sweet.
You know, the guy that tries to kidnap and marry an underage girl and bring her to his hell lair through song?
But I'm not sure if that character is republican...

Sweet sounds more like a Democrat. I picked the Master because he had that great idea to make money by bleeding innocents dry in a machine.
*quick edit*
My silly dog (Xander) caused me to hit send when he began choking on something he managed to find on the floor. Good god, he's like a Hoover (so I guess he's from Canada).
Point being: money at the expense of others? That's Republican.
Sex scandals is more a Democrat thing.

Posted: 6/14/04 at 3:26pmDon't you want to be the Master? He was wonderful; best villain they had. I think no one else even came close...well, except Harry Groener as the Mayor. You could tell he was having fun.

I love Animal House.
I love James Marsters.
What were we talking about again?

Buffy, ~FF~, Buffy.
And whether or not Papa is convincing enough as an immortal, platinum-blonde, Cockney vampire or a Master with fruit-punch mouth.

I had to bump this thread back to the top. No discussion of Buffy can die.
However, I have to say, if they do ever make a movie musical version of Buffy, I pick Mandy Moore to star as either Buffy or Cordelia. Seriously. She was a riot in Saved! (which I saw last night and, I must say, would actually make a fun little fluff of a musical itself).

Well, I'm starring as Buffy in the STAGE musical.
And this isn't going to be like the musical episode... we're going to write our own musical. So, Cordie will be included because I said so. LOL.
Vish is going to write the book. She's not going to play Cordie anymore. I cast Shoshana Bean.
Eric is still Xander. Somebody really hot has to play Angel... I still have to decide on that one, suggestions are welcome. Brent Carver will play Giles...
I haven't decided who to make her, but Stephanie Block has to be in our musical. Carolee Carmello will be playing Joyce. (We'll throw her in a kick ass solo... it'll be the 11 o'clock.)
Aww... it'll be like a little parade reunion with Carolee and Brent! Yay! Other casting is open for discussion... Shoshana can be replaced to... but Carolee and Brent I will not budge on.

Posted: 6/15/04 at 5:26pmBrent & Carolee are inspired choices!!! Still, why not get the man himself: Anthony Head? He has done many shows in London, after all...I need to figure out who will play Harmony, though. It's so important to her that she be in a musical. I sort of have this weird thing about loving that character.

Can Stephanie play Druscilla?
I dunno, dude, whatever happens, Carolee is DEFINITELY playing my mom.
Harmony... hmm... it can't be too big of a name, because her part will have to be a cameo at best... this is going to be one big cast...

Carolee, as I said, is just an amazing choice. Her standby could be Marin Mazzie, though.
As long as we keep Kristin, Sutton and Idina out of it, I say the bigger cast, the better!

Agreed. No Sutton, Kristin or Idina.
How about Willow?
Here's our cast list so far:
Buffy: Bethy
Xander: Eric
Joyce: Carolee Carmello
Giles: Anthony Head or Brent Carver (which one??)
Cordelia: Jennifer Laura Thompson (I saw her today in Barnes and Noble and decided she has to be in my Buffy musical.)
Did we decide if Stephanie could play Dru? We need a Willow!

Is it just me or is this musical going to be a touch plot-heavy if we're going to fit in ALL these characters? ![]()
That being said, Jessica Grove could certainly play Dawn.
Spike's still up in the air as well.

I'm disappointed.

It's still about me... about me as Buffy... LOL!
Ohh, Jessica could totally play Dawn.
And yes, it's going to be extremely plot heavy.. it's going to be the musical that never ends. I'm sure Vish can figure out something since I'm making her write the book. Who can we get to compose our 5 hour epic? LOL
We STILL need an Angel, too. And a Dru, Willow, et. al.
