excuse me john, spike is not up in the air. i will be spike or i will call upon the minions of the aryan nation, the christian coalition, and every other far right loon squad i can think of to wreak the vengeance of the righteous upon this production. i hate to resort to extortion...wait, no i don't. i'm spike or i call in the bomb throwers. think i won't? remember i am the board republican and it's accepted accross the board that we have no scruples much less any ethics, morals or hearts.

now shall we move on? i have to work on my motorcycle skills and get back to my diet.

Sorry Papa, I would have to challange you for the role of Spike. I've been doing for Spike for years now and have him down.

Ok, I so didn't mean that the way it sounded. I have the spike outfit and throughout October, the hair gets bleached, the accent gets put on and I do a gig as tv's most beloved vamp

Ignore the first post, it was a total Freudian slip.
I get well compensated already for my vamp routine...50 bucks a night a chance to meet former C list celebs. So, I think I may have the role in the bag. Besides, I always imagined you as a Giles.

Wait, wait, wait. We have to figure out where to put Jen Cody. She could be Harmony!

I love Willow. Who's playing her? Also adore Faith and Cordilia but none of them compare to Druscilla. She is by far the most frightening villain on the show. A vampire is scarey enough but a psychotic one is just too much. She actually gives me chills whenver she shows up in an episode.

We haven't figured out who's playing Willow yet... I still can't decide where to stick Stephanie Block... what do you guys think? She is a must for this production. re: i want my own thread, dammit!

And yes, Jen can play Harmony. She's peeeeeeeeeerfect. :) (Just as long as we keep Hunter out of this.)

I like Hunter; there's just nothing for him to play...except, perhaps...ANDREW! Actually, though, I think Roger Bart (while a bit long in the tooth) would be much better. :)
We need to find a spot for Michael Arden, too.
Holy crap. This is going to be the bestest show ever!
For Willow...why not Alyson Hannigan? Girl can sang!
Ok, you know I'm kidding.

DUDE! What about Stephanie??? She needs a role! I keep moving her around... I can't figure out where to stick her.

hehe, so many responses come to mind.
Well, could she play Drusilla? She could possibly play some new villain, even. Or heck, let her standby Cordy. Why not Faith? She could do it, I'm guessing.
How about Stephanie D'Abruzzo for Willow? She's more along the lines of the original Willow (from the pilot) but I think she has the right combination of spunk and shyness.

Stephanie so can't stand by! LOL... hmmm. I think she's more suited for Faith than Cordy...

Faith: Stephanie Block (Steph1)
Cordelia: J-La
Willow: Stephanie D'Abruzzo (who is now Steph2)

Who's evil enough to play Dru? NOT Idina. Dru is one of my fave characters ever... although, it would be nice to kick Idina's ass on stage... hmmm...

And I'm sorry... I have to throw Emily in here some where. Just because. She seriously has no place in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but we will create space for her.

I'm still missing my Angel. MARC KUDISCH! LOL

Which Emily are we talking 'bout? Skinner?
She could be that friend of Joyce's who gets turned into a zombie African woman when she dies and puts on the mask in Joyce's bedroom...plus, I kept thinking there were weird lesbian undertones between her and Joyce.
I say MIss Block is Faith. I love D'Ab as Willow. I think she'd be total fun. The real question now is who is Tara? Jennifer Barnhart, just for the Q factor?

We can't give Emsy Wemsy a cameo. It's just not feasible. OHHH! She can be GLORY!! She can be the evil Goddess that wants little Dawn. Ooo... Emily would be GOOD at that.

K, Ems is Glory. (Then I can kick her ass... that will be fun.)

As much as I'd hate to say this, I think Sutton would make a great Tara. She has that book worm nerdy look about her, but she's pretty.

I know, I didn't want to go there either, but...

Well, I forbid her to read that post. Emily, don't read that post. =-P

... and of course I only want to kick her butt out of love! I wasn't insinuating she should be the evil wench because she is one... I just feel she'd play a very convincing villianess. :)

Man, this is definitely the best dream casting ever. What fun! Do you think anyone else is even reading this anymore, Daisy? I mean, FloweryFriend isn't even responding anymore...and, well, 'nuff said!

Umm, we need to do another cast recap so I can figure out who else to cram in there.
OH, I'm such an idiot. Forget ROger BArt for the role of Andrew, the obvious choice is our lovely little recent Tony nominee, John Tartaglia. I think it's perfect casting for the
J-Tart to be little Andrew.

Wow, bwaysinger.
I didn't realize that my reputation for responding to everything held so strong.
But I assure you, not a post goes by on the OT board that I do not read.
(The main board, I skim and scan for the good stuff.)
I simply don't post unless I have something quasi-relevant to say.
(Or if I'm bored out of my mind)

That being said, I thought I'd leave this dream casting to the professionals.
(but I do very much like the thought of John T. as Andrew. Good call.)

Yeah, but FF, I'm not a professional casting director and neither is DH, so I think we could use your help, especially since you could be up all night, obsess over it, and come up with some great ideas.
So stop sleeping and think! :)

I will have you know that I went to bed at the early hour of 3:00am last night.
And I was awake by 12:30 today.
I'm impressed with myself.
Of course, I'm still sick.
But eh.

And just so you know, I only watched season 6 of Buffy.
And a couple seasons of Angel.
It took a lot of thinking for me to even remember who Harmony was.
(short, cute, blond, high voice. Actress from Addams Family 2?)
I'll think on it, though.

Um... did my hot thread get deleted? *insulted*

papa hasn't been deleted. craigypoo... i'm hurt. HURT.

we should type up the cast list of buffy so far...

Buffy: Bethy
Xander: Eric
Cordelia: Jennifer Laura Thompson
Giles: Anthony Head
Joyce: Carolee Carmello
Faith: Stephanie Block
Harmony: Jen Cody
Dawn: Jessica Grove
Glory: Emily

I'm thinking that Stephanie D. isn't young enough to pull off Willow. How about Kerry Butler? She's actually a red head, which could give a plus. And she excels at those cutesy, semi-nerdy roles. She is very willowesque and she looks young enough. It's like a classic Kerry role. Stephanie could possibly play Tara...? I think she's more Tara than Will.

And what about Anya??? She's by far one of my favorite characters.

I decided Bebe Neuwirth HAS to play Druscilla. It's genius. Now she just needs a really good Spike to compliment her crazy alter ego.

Who else??? Hmmmmm... Oz?

ANGEL! We still need an ANGEL!
