#99. My fave. Perfect day: Trader Joe's - 14th St. Then (on the next block), THIS unbelievably delish super cheap magnificence, with a good dose of Sirirachi Sauce.

Well it's better than trying every Starbucks or eating McDonalds exclusively for a year.

I'm sorry, but I just can't take any list seriously that ranks a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich higher than chopped liver at Katz's and sturgeon and eggs from Barney Greengrass.

I've already had quite a few of those. The sloppy bao (#20) is my favorite! When my office use to be in the East Village, I had 2-3 a month.

AC12 - I agree with you re: Barney Greengrass, where I've had brunch 2x/month for about the last 30 yrs. ( I miss living around the block from there),

but today I had #76! Phenomenal! Love living 3 blocks from THIS place. I always previously ordered their fantastic $2.50 delish authentic tacos w/their fabulous freshly made, superb guac. But that sammie! Ooh-weee!!!!! And the people are sooo nice. A real, REAL dive. Go to the back, sit on 1 of 3 barstools at a teeny, tiny counter, have a beer,. wait for your food and look at that TINY 3x5 "kitchen".

This list made me miss meat... The only sandwiches I eat are shroom burgers from Shake Shack, grilled cheese from Junior's, and falafel from Maoz.

Bacon, peanut butter, and banana? Really?!
