Why yes, there are a couple of people on this board who are positive and helpful, PRS. I'd probably PM them directly for any advice should I ever need it.

That's because you use your brain, Jane. Lots of agents/cd's don't think too much about anything beyond looks and IMDB stats.

Not mad at all. No one cut me off in line or hired a celebrity to to the voiceover work I thought I was entitled to, though, so why should I be mad?

The actors mostly stay on the main board, and usually don't want to out themselves anyway. The off-topic board is where people chat and screw around.

Not true at all in my experience, Phyl. I know a lot of actors (mostly Broadway ones) unhappy about the Imdb and Ibdb situation as well. Mostly because it's a site notorious for all sorts of errors, never mind the dob thing. And it is true that agents often just look at the year of birth and not the person, and automatically rule out actors as a result.
Also, there just aren't a lot of actors (that I know, anyway) that take BWW seriously, and those who visit at all mostly stick to the main board and seldom post.

Yes, sad. But, your memory can't retrieve a single time I was abusive or nasty to anyone on this board, because it's never happened. Something you cannot say for yourself. So yeah, you're sad.
