A convention of fat, hairy men wearing leather outfits? That is so gross. That's the stuff that gets on the 6 o'clock news.

Uh sort of a convention, a pageant and a circuit party all in one. My first weekend in Chicago was a Memorial Day weekend adn the IML was held at The Vic Theater. We had lunch aroudn the corner after unpacking and suddenly, the sidewalk was filled with hundreds of gay men in leather- waiting for the doors to open. I KNEW that I had made the right decision to move to Chicago!

I LOVE IML/Bear Pride because it's the weekend I get to see what it's like to be Brad Pitt! I will NEVER forget my first stroll up Halsted and what it felt like to-- literally!-- stop traffic! I love getting woofed at on the street!
