I have been waiting for 5 years for this......In 4-5 weeks I will be having my weight loss surgery . I am still in shock. My head is reeling and I just wanted to let people know.
gastric bypass?? Good luck & best wishes! I know people who have had great success with it, just be sure to follow ALL of the rules and guidelines!

Friday, I have my procedure done to take a low grade tumor from my bladder & rest up on the weekend.Hopefully. I will be finished with medical procedures for awhile

I had to go to another hospital out of my area. The surgeon is cute.

I am so happy for you. A dear friend of mine had it done earlier this year and she couldn't be happier or healthier.
But a word of advice, ENJOY THAT THANKSGIVING DINNER!! It will never be the same.

I am going on Optifast for about 2 to 3 weeks. No Thanksgiving meal.....but I couldnt be happier. The turkey will be there next year.

I have a friend going through this process, as well, and it is not to be taken lightly, for those that know nothing about it. It's a life-altering moment, that seriously impacts every facet of your existence.
I applaud your courage, Yenta, and your determination to have the life you know you are entitled to.
