It's fun! You get to whine, and complain, and make Jewish jokes! Of course there's other stuff involved too...you have to put up with a Jewish mother who KNOWS how to lay the guilt on THICK! But you do get to eat my grandfather's latkes, so I suppose it makes up for it.
Also, there's some religious sh*t involved.

Indeed it isn't. But at least holidays are fun...I guess. Not nearly as many Yom Kippur songs as Christmas songs, right? But y'all ain't got nothing (sorry...getting back to my roots. Did I mention I grew up in a hick town?) on Bat (and Bar) Mitzvahs! What the frick do you have? Nothing! When do YOU know you're a man? We have parties! With presents! Whee!
