you have to have a font installed on your computer to be able to see it when used online as plain text (as opposed to a graphic)

I am not joking when I say this:

I was sitting at my computer listening to Rent through the headphones. Then I heard other sounds, like an announcer from a baseball game or something - almost like people talking into walkie-talkies. I went crazy. Finally, I found it. The noise was coming out of my plug-in (external) speakers. The power was turned on, only they weren't plugged in to anything. When I shut off the power of the speakers, the sound immediately stopped.

I am no even joking about that. I think I am hearing voices in my head!

Probably just some kind of interference.

It's like when sometime my computer speakers broadcast telephone conversations.

it was just weird that the speakers weren't plugged into anything at all!
