I don't even visit any of my several friends who have moved away from NY. The only time I'll fly is when I have to, and that is to visit my mother and sister in FL

I hate flying, but takeoff and landing is the worst part. I hate that dropping feeling in your stomach as you descend...
During flight I'm only troubled really by fat seatmates and ear popping. I've had some turbulence nightmares, however.

Except that is EXACTLY what just happened to that Air France flight! My worst plane nightmare - the plane comes apart in the sky at 35,000 OVER WATER, NO LESS!!!
Horrible. I am so thrilled I am flying to Mexico in 3 weeks.
