This looks SO cute. Maybe it's just the beautiful girls. Anyone else interested in seeing it?

re: Imagine Me & You#2
Posted: 1/22/06 at 11:43amI think that is the point. Piper Parabo is marrying Matthew Goode, but then she meets the other girl... Hmmm.

Posted: 1/22/06 at 11:51amI didn't watch the trailer because my computer doesn't have sound and is way too slow for my impatient self but the concept looks cute. What's the release date? I hope it's not similar to Kissing Jessica Stein.

Nah, this is a drama. It says it's released the 27th.
OEC, have you seen Lost and Delirious?

no! I was just discussing this with my friend last night, I've hardly seen any lesbian movies haha.
Is that the one with Mischa Barton? Is there a movie also called Dazed and Confused or am I making that up?

Yes, they are two VERY different movies...lol. Lost and Delirious is Mischa Barton and Piper Perabo. It's about a all girl boarding school and young love and other people's opinions. I LOVED it. I didn't see it until this past year.

I just read an article about this film, and the writer essentially says it's an investigation of the phenomenon of 'love at first sight'. The fact that they are both women is actually not the point, although it certainly adds another dimension to explore.

Lost and Delirious is sitting on my coffee table waiting to be watched so I'll be seeing it sometime this week before it's due.

netflix sent me this today
As someone who enjoyed Love Actually, we thought you'd like to know that Imagine Me & You opens in select theaters Friday, January 27th.
In this delightful romantic comedy about love's many forms and constant surprises, bride-to-be Rachel (Piper Perabo) is love-struck ... but not with her groom. Instead, as she's marching down the aisle with her longtime sweetheart, Heck (Matthew Goode), Rachel is immediately bewitched by a beautiful guest (Lena Headey). Now, the newlywed must choose between the safety of a familiar relationship and her heart's true desire.
looks interesting

JG2 - Watched Lost & Delirious this weekend...I think I might've liked it better if I saw it 10 yrs ago (or at least when it first came out...no pun intended). Piper Perabo's character was just SO dramatic about everything once her gf started rejecting her (and the ending? mreh). A little too off the deep end for me. And really dark. (normally I'm totally into dark, but this was dark, even for me)
Anyone see Imagine Me & You yet?

Yay for pulling up dead threads!
(SPOILERS)
I just FINALLY got to see the movie. (It's always out at Blockbuster, the indie movie rental places aren't carrying it and I quit Netflix, so I just broke down and downloaded it. Don't worry, I am going to buy it now!) I cried. I guess the film could seem rather unbelievable to some, but I went through almost the exact same thing. Our ending turned out the exact opposite, though. Yep, that's a keeper for the lesbian cinema shelf.
