Wow! He looks comfortable and not at all like he's trying! What talent! It gives me new appreciation for all those high notes I sing at Bach Choir on Monday nights knowing they were written for a boy soprano!
I also wonder if that's a clip from a European school or setting, because I don't know many 11-12 year old American boys who would stand up and sing soprano, even if they were that amazing. I'll tell you, it's a challenge to get some of my 5th grade boys to sing at all!

He's DARLING!
And, wow. That's an impossible one to sing...

Posted: 3/1/06 at 3:48pmOne thing was weird-he was singing so beautifully, yet he looked bored to death, almost like it was a chore.

Wow. He's great.
His pronouniation is very good too, so maybe he actually is German/Austrian, but I just can't see German parents (or Austrian parents for that matter) putting their kids in that outfit....lol.

Posted: 3/4/06 at 5:14pmI notice a lot of people, when singing, have that problem where they look like they are bored to death.

Posted: 3/4/06 at 5:30pmOh, he's not bored. He's concentrating and working harder than it makes me comfortable to see. I don't mean working outwardly so the audience can see it - I mean you know what's going on inwardly - especially if you sing. I've just decided I would never want to see a little boy of mine under that kind of strain. He is amazing, that's for sure. It's just that I want to be his mother and say - okay, go out and play - you never have to do that again!

Posted: 3/4/06 at 5:33pmAh, that's an exaggeration, he doesn't look like he's about to poop or anything. He's obviously concentrating, which is what most people do when they sing, they go into a sort of zone. But it makes them look like they are bored. It takes people a while to learn that when they sing they are being watched as well as listened to.

Posted: 3/4/06 at 7:36pmI absolutly LOVE that song. I am so close to singing myself, and to watch this little boy (who is very adorable) sing it, makes me a little jealous.
