Interior design Q. your opinion?

OK, I know it's quirky, but I love it. My entire small apt is based on the colors of the orig. FOLLIES poster. i.e. walls of medium teal, orange, purple accent wall. My furniture is blond wood Heywood Wakefield, medium saturated teal main wall, white sectional low couch.minimal "stuff" - teak/50-60s pole and table lamps. I'm trying to pull the dining and living rooms together with area rugs.
I kinda like this one for the dining area which is a bit small than 8 x 10.
I'm not afraid of bold design choices. What do you think? Just curious...

Homedecorators.com has some great mod rugs. I've gotten free shipping occassionally in the past.

s your verdict re "olefin" , polypropelene/synthetics vs. wool? Do the synthetics really "stink" (literally)" forever?
