Is Anyone Else Watching THE GOOD WIFE?

I'm now convinced it's the best show new show of the season and quickly becoming one of my favorite TV Shows, period. Has anyone else started watching it?

I watched one episode the other night, and found it dull and predictable.

Yes, I've been watching since the beginning. I agree, it's off to a great start. Juliana Marguiles is easily one of the best actresses working on television today. She's absolutely radiant in the role. The writing has been smart and intelligent thus far, and the stories very engaging.

I look forward to it every week.

I've been watching it. I'm not as crazy about it as you are, but I think it's pretty decent and solid, especially for a show that just started.

I love the show. The show hasn't really focused on the scandal so much yet, but more of her lawyering abilities. I'm really looking forward to the new episodes.

I agree with many posts on here, both pro and con. I was psyched for Margulies when I saw she would be heading up a new show, and once I watched it, felt it was *totally* formulaic and predictable. But the thing is, you are right...she *is* radiant in it. She looks fantastic, and though it's still sort of difficult and refreshing at the same time to see her without her nurse scrubs (and seriously, the expectation that George Clooney as Doug Ross will turn a corner to say hi to her or something), "radiant" is a great word for her. She's a great actress--the thing that pulls me back to the fact that it is, in fact, a new show, her own show (good lord, not a "hospital" show), is her facial expressions and the fact that she plays a jilted wife and hard-working, cool mom.

And who is the guy who plays the associate who brought her back to the law firm? Didn't he start out as some kid actor who always seemed to play the "smart ass" kid in high school movies and stuff?? He's grown up, adorable, and is very good.

I've only had time to see the pilot so far. I like the concept, but everything about the work culture at the law firm is unrealistic to the point of being distracting. And I don't mean things like "everyone is so pretty"; I'm talking about people discussing the confidential facts of a case in a crowded elevator. Unprofessional and unnecessary from a dramatic viewpoint.

But really, next to something like Eli Stone the depiction of the legal profession here is a work of freaking genius, so I think I can put all that aside and concentrate on the acting, story, etc. for the most part.

Yes, I have been watching it and love it. After FlashForward, I would say that The Good Wife is the best new drama on television. Juliana Margulies is fantastic and she looks incredible. She never disappoints...except for her brief laps in judgement to be in the movie, Ghost Ship.
