I agree with many posts on here, both pro and con. I was psyched for Margulies when I saw she would be heading up a new show, and once I watched it, felt it was *totally* formulaic and predictable. But the thing is, you are right...she *is* radiant in it. She looks fantastic, and though it's still sort of difficult and refreshing at the same time to see her without her nurse scrubs (and seriously, the expectation that George Clooney as Doug Ross will turn a corner to say hi to her or something), "radiant" is a great word for her. She's a great actress--the thing that pulls me back to the fact that it is, in fact, a new show, her own show (good lord, not a "hospital" show), is her facial expressions and the fact that she plays a jilted wife and hard-working, cool mom.
And who is the guy who plays the associate who brought her back to the law firm? Didn't he start out as some kid actor who always seemed to play the "smart ass" kid in high school movies and stuff?? He's grown up, adorable, and is very good.
"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had the practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." --Alice in Wonderland
