Isn't Joe a Republican?

Um . . . . .
Wow. Just wow.
Of course he's a Republican. He's just realizing this.
The rest of us have known it for years.
Let's move on to the next questions, please.
...I haven't decided who's dumber.
I would love to see the bubble over his head when these gaffs happen.
At times he actually sounds drunk.
shouldn't you have to pass an IQ test or something to be the President? if so then we would be living in a place where George W. Bush can never be in the white house
"Sure Bush may not have the intellectual depth of other presidents but do we really need that in a president?"
Please tell me they didn't just say that.
I firmly believe the man has NEVER stopped drinking and drugging.
I haven't seen the video, but this reminded me of one of the funniest redundant questions I've ever been asked. (spoken in a southern accent) "Is fatty meat greasy?" It was in response to a question I asked. That was his way of saying yes.

He said;
'I would be honoured to shake the hand of the man who had his hands cut off by Saddam Hussein'.
Yep, he's dumb alright.
My favorite is the one where Bush says something like "The terrorist want to destroy america. I want to do the same thing."
It's not word for word, but still stupid.

I like this one:
'It's true, we're dependant on foreign oil. More and more of our imports are coming from abroad'.
"shouldn't you have to pass an IQ test or something to be the President?"
I have yet to hear of anyone failing an IQ test.

The verb was put in the wrong spot, it's not "Is Bush Dumb?" it's "Bush is dumb," ahh much better.
I don't mean this in a rude or offensive way at all, I'm just curious: addressed to all those who've said Bush Is Dumb, if you were made United States President starting tomorrow morning, what would you do?

Make a law which said that you couldn't become President if you were in any way related to the Bushes. I'm nit, so I'm safe...
Then I'd ban the NRA and rifles, hand guns and any other dangerous weapons, except those in the hands of the Police...
Then I'd turn the country into a Monarchy and make Oprah Winfrey Queen, whether she liked it or not, leave her in charge and go back to Ireland from whence I came.

oops, the first one doesn't make sense any more, because if it's a monarchy you can't become president anyway! Oops...
"Then I'd ban the NRA and rifles, hand guns and any other dangerous weapons, except those in the hands of the Police..."
Vmlinnie, I know that's a joke, but I guarantee you there are plenty of morons in my poor country who would read your post and think, "Gee, what a swell idea!"
'Tis sad that the obesity epidemic in America is only physical. Because all too many Americans suffer from being mentally underweight.
More from Joe:
"The biggest knock on Bush’s brain is his lack of intellectual curiosity. Former administration officials still close to the White House will tell you Mr. Bush detests dissent, embraces a narrow world view and is intellectually incurious.
Worse for this White House is the fact that George W. Bush has daily smackdowns with the English language and the English language usually wins.
His gaffes are funnier than most SNL skits. But more disturbing are his rambling, disjointed press conferences like the one he held earlier this week.
Friends and foes alike agree that George W. Bush is one political figure who gets worse with age. Look back at his performance as Texas governor and you will see a funny, self-assured public figure who inspires confidence. But these days, the mere opening of Mr. Bush’s mouth makes many GOP loyalists shake in their tasseled loafers.
So does it matter in the end whether our president is articulate and intelligent?
You bet your life, it does. I’m not saying we need to elect a dork like Michael Dukakis, who famously spent vacations at the beach reading books on Swedish land use or was so overwhelmed with the details of the old SALT treaties that he would sulk off to bed depressed.
But when America is fighting a global war on terror where the battle is for hearts and minds instead of beachheads and landing strips, we need a leader who can explain to friend and foe alike why America is in Iraq, why we keep sending arms to Israel and why liberal democracy really is preferable to Islamic fascism.
Right now, George W. Bush is not that leader."

What is Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome?
Wernicke's encephalopathy is a degenerative brain disorder caused by the lack of thiamine (vitamin B1), which may result from alcohol abuse.
Symptoms include mental confusion, vision impairment, stupor, coma, hypothermia, hypotension, and ataxia.
Korsakoff's amnesic syndrome-a memory disorder-also results from a deficiency of thiamine, and is associated with alcoholism. The heart, vascular, and nervous system are involved.
Symptoms include amnesia, confabulation, attention deficit, disorientation, and vision impairment.
The main features of Korsakoff's amnesic syndrome are the impairments in acquiring new information or establishing new memories, and in retrieving previous memories.
Although Wernicke's and Korsakoff's may appear to be two different disorders, they are generally considered to be different stages of the same disorder, which is called Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome.
Korsakoff syndrome, or Korsakoff psychosis, tends to develop as Wernicke's symptoms diminish. It involves impairment of memory out of proportion to problems with other cognitive functions.
Patients often attempt to hide their poor memory by confabulating. The patient will create detailed, believable stories about experiences or situations to cover gaps in memory. This is not usually a deliberate attempt to deceive because the patient often believes what he is saying to be true. It can occur whether or not the thiamine deficiency was related to alcoholism and with other types of brain damage.
