I am listening and it sounds like she is leaving the race soon!

One can hope she'll put an end to the madness and allow enough time for the party to unite again before the general.
we will certainly see which obama supporters possess his graciousness not to gloat. To instead focus on uniting the party. To express the hope. To value the need to not push Hillary supporters away with self righteousness.

I thought her speech was very nice and I really support a Obama/Clinton ticket.
Jerby... considering you've posted it now in two different threads, I have to ask... have you been working on that statement all day?
Yes. Because I am psychic and knew what the results would be and that you would be online tonite showing your ass.
I don't think she is giving up. She did have, however, a different tone to her speech. I think she had a great opening and a great close to her speech.
"We can once again open our arms to the world. We can once again be the can-do nation, a nation that defies the odds and greets the future with optimism and hope. There isn't anything America can't do once we make up our minds to start acting like Americans again."
There isn't anything America can't do once we make up our minds to start acting like Americans again.
yeah that is a great line. Brava to her writers.
I imagine you're bitterly disappointed, jerby. You must be feeling the same way I was feeling after Pennsylvania. I seem to recall quite a bit of gloating going on at the time, especially coming from your and PJ's direction. And for the record, I'm not gloating. I'm just excited and deliriously happy that my candidate of choice had a good night. Sue me.

It is time for our resources to be used against Bush III and not against each other.
Don't take it personally, Liverpool. Jerby is just a wee bit touchy this evening.
"It is time for our resources to be used against Bush III and not against each other."
Not quite yet, brdlwyr. They'll be plenty of time for that as soon as Hills throws is the towel.
I just don't see an Obama/Clinton ticket happening. I really don't think it will. I mainly say that because it seems that none of them want or wish to take if offered the role of vice. It seems like that they have a Presidency or bust attitude about this election.
I could see however an Obama Edwards ticket.
Rest assured, you will NEVER see an Obama/Hillary or Hillary/Obama ticket. Word on the street is they can't stand each other. But Obama/Edwards sounds good to me!

Edwards is not the answer. He could not give us his state in 2004.
I did not gloat when Hillary won Penn. If Hillary had won big tonite, I would not have gloated. If Hillary were to end up being the nominee, I will not be gloating.
I'm not stupid enough to keep dividing the party by gloating. So, I suggest you enjoy Obama nearly sealing the deal tonite with respect and class so that you do not alienate people. Think.
I'm not worried about me--I'll be voting for Obama to vote against McCain.
I'm not worried about you jerby, i'm worried about people like the couple from South Carolina that I met while i was doing DNC fundraising last month. The said they wouldn't support or vote for Obama because they didn't trust him. They thought he was racist. The amount of closet racists in the democratic party combined with the amount of openly racist members of the republican party are what I'm worried about.

If it's Obama/Richardson, I'm definitely writing-in my vote for Whoopi Goldberg.

As the night goes on, it seems more likely that Clinton will be out of the race soon.
They will give her a way to save face, and seat the delegates from Michigan and Florida, but she is done.
A deal will be worked out, and Obama will be the Nominee. There will be no fight at the convention.
