Sixteen year old Roz's bark was worse than her bite.

She seems very defensive of my crotch...as most girls are.

Why IS she that close to your crotch?

Back in the day, Akiva was constantly being attacked by people who wanted him. Men, women, animals...
So I basically had to guard his crotch at all times.

I just found out that a 20-year-old guy from my hometown died. I found his OB online.

I know! The article said he was engaged, too.
It'll be 3 years since one of my really good friends passed away on Feb 14. She, her boyfriend, and her best friend were in a freak car accident. They went out to help one of their friends get his car out of a ditch, and one their way back, the car slipped on some black ice. It flipped over a guard rail into the lake. She drowned, and the other two survived.

On a good note, the boyfriend and the best friend have been a couple ever since. Last I heard, they weren't engaged, but it's been a while since I've talked to any of them.

It's an awful thing to go through, Austin. One of my really good friends died this summer when a truck ran a red light and hit the car she was in. Going to her memorial service (on my birthday, no less) was probably the worst thing I've ever had to do.
I'm not sure how I feel about coffee Pinkberry. Can they ever really improve on the original?

Katherine's funeral was awful. I cried more then than I did at my mom's. I couldn't even look inside Katherine's casket. I hugged her parents and walked on by.
I've never had Pinkberry. The site says they have a store in Temecula, but I don't remember seeing it when I lived in Hemet. It was only for a week, so I didn't really sight-see.
Y'all remember my houseboy gig in Hemet? That was fun.

I was introduced to Pinkberry by friends in my last show. We used to go there whenever we had at least a 10 minute break. There's one going in near my office, uh oh.

Life isn't about keeping score. It's not about how many people call you and it's not about who you've dated, are dating, or haven't dated at all. It isn't about who you've kissed, what sport you play, or which guy or girl likes you. It's not about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact, it's not about grades, money, clothes, or colleges that accept you or not. Life just isn't about if you have lots of friends, or if you are alone, and it's not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn't about that.
But life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness, and compassion. It's about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance, and building confidence. It's about what you say and what you mean. It's about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. Most of all, it is about choosing to use your life to touch someone else's in a way that could never have been achieved otherwise. These choices are what life's about.
